The Coastline Magazine – The Vision

Sharing the Stoke

We will do this by shining a light on Characters, Culture and Coastlines, as these are the elements that make up our lives and lifestyle.

These elements combine to engage, enthuse, educate, and ultimately to fill our lives with meaning and passion, often second only to our families.

We take our first swim, paddle, catch our first wave. Sometimes our first kiss and many of our formative experiences are connected in or on the water or on a journey to any of the amazing beaches we are fortunate enough to enjoy .

Browse within The Coastlines Magazine and you will find a wide ranging and holistic exploration of the elements with glimpses, views and deep dives into the Characters, their surfing lives, our Culture and how we live, and pieces to understand the unique character of each stretch of Coastline that only a local who loves the area can share and explain what their piece of paradise means to them.

Fresh content will be added regularly. If you have registered, we will update you on occasion about items of interest we hope are relevant to you. Waves are almost always free, as is our high-quality content written and photographed by legends of the Pen and Camera and surfing luminaries – renowned photographer Russell Ord, best-selling surf writer Tim Baker, world tour veterans Richie Lovett and Ricardo Christie, world longboard champs Beau Young and Rachael Tilley, surfing royalty Wayne “Rabbit” Bartholomew and iconic shaper Nev Hyman, to name a few of a dream team of passionate surfing thinkers and creators.

We invite and welcome contributions and opinions from all and will endeavour to publish these perspectives to share the stoke.

Do What you love, We Love what we do.
